dependent of a work visa/permit holder trying Tier 1

Post by ghulbhai » Mon Jul 21, 2008 9:00 pm

Hi,
I hold a Dependent work visa based on my wife's 1 year contract with a company here. She has a work permit for 1 year.

But apart from that I am planning to apply to Tier 1 based on my skills.

I am already in the UK - can I apply for Switching (Tier 1 General) ?
Please clarify. I am very confused and your help will be appreciated much.

Thanks
Islamul

No, you have to apply from your home country. See :
