Help to answer ILR online questions

Post by john_sgh » Fri Oct 25, 2019 9:00 am

Hi,

Please help me to answer the below questions to submit my application.

1. Have you previously lived in a country outside the UK Including your country of birth?

In my case. 1983 to 2010 - India
2010 to 2013 - UK under workpermit
2013 to 2014 - India
2014 to Till date - PBS visa UK.

Do I need to provide two entries for this question as India between 1983 to 2010 and 2013 to 2014?

2) Do you have National identity card? I answered as No.

I have only my indian passport. I dont have other ID card. or Do I need to answer yes and provide my passport details here.

Thanks for this great forum to help others.

Thanks for the response .

I understand I need to give only India in my scenario. But Do I need to break into two as below?

1983 to 2010 1st entry

2013 to 2014 2nd entry

or just

1983 to 2014

How can you state 1983-2014 when you were in uk from 2010-2013.
It’s not a make or break question though. Answer as you please.

Thank you.

Can you help with the below queries please?

1) Declaration signed by Mr XXX to confirm consent for the Home Office to request verification checks.

where I can get this consent form? Do you have a link please?

2) I am PBS dependant. I received the Visa in 20th November 2014 and entry into UK 1st Jan 2015. As I understand in this forum, the 5 years period starts from Visa issue date. So I can apply ILR by 22nd October 2019. Am I right please?

1. I’m not familiar with the ILR online form but as per my understanding it pops up after submission
2. Initial visa issue date minus 28 days. Yes.

Please help me with the below query for next stage.

Thanks for your support so far.

1. Probably. As per immi rules proof of living together is a requirement
2. Headings aren’t important. Anywhere.

Thank you.

As I understand, my spouse can travel outside UK as he is holding British passport. The travel restriction is applicable only to the applicant .

Dear All,

Thanks for your guidance.

I provided all my absences post Jan 2018 as per new visa rule. I was in India between October 2015 and Jan
2016. Do I need to mention this period (Oct 2015 to Jan 2016) as lived outside UK section please?

Note: My ILR application is based on UK entry 1st Jan 2015.

Why do think you need to mention it?
Did you leave UK and move there for 3 months? Or were you visiting friends and family?

Yes to birth and marriage certs.

You also need two years evidence of cohabitation in both your and your spouse names from at least 3 to 6 different sources.

The checklist is NOT totally accurate and is afterall only a checklist. You need to submit what the guidance notes and immigration rules state.
