Hello everyone!
There’s is this company that offered me a tier 2 sponsorship visa to work as a housekeeper in the UK , however I am a bit skeptical that my application will be refused because of the job offer as it is not a level 6 job. Do you have any advice?
Regards,
George.

'Housekeeper' does not qualify for Tier 2 General.

Hello
Without stating the name of the company, are you sure it exists and it's a serious company?
Did they ask you to pay or anything for the sponsorship?

Also, did they approach you out of the blue directly or did you contact them initially etc?
Sounds completely like a scam.

This company is NHS
The NHS would know full well that a 'housekeeper' cannot be sponsored under tier 2 as the NHS is a A rated sponsor and they take their sponsor licence duties very very seriously.
Are you sure it is not someone impersonating the NHS or an agent who says they are working on behalf of the NHS??

There must be some misunderstanding or something not right.
Did you apply for this job directly with the NHS or through an agency? Did you tell them you need to be sponsored to be able to work? Your last posts on the forum suggest you were a tier 4 student.
Are you positive they said they can sponsor you on Tier 2 or did you make it clear that you would require sponsorship?
There is no visa that you can get sponsorship for in your circumstances to work as a housekeeper. Anyone who tells you this is lying to you or trying to trick you.

I have applied through the NHS website and I have mentioned that I’m on 4 tier. A few days later I get an email from the NHS hospital that I have been invited for an interview.

So where exactly did they state they will offer you a tier 2 sponsorship??? Or have you simply assumed this??
They have invited you to an interview, they have not offered you a job with sponsorship.
You are of course aware of your work restrictions on tier 4?

This is what has been stated in their post:
Applications from candidates requiring Tier 2 sponsorship to work in the UK are welcomed and will be considered alongside all other applications. It is unlikely that the Trust will be able to satisfy the Resident Labour Market Test where there is a suitably qualified and skilled EU/EEA candidate available for work and in these circumstances, an overseas candidate will not be offered the post.

It is a standard paragraph that most employment agencies or sponsors use. The company I work, also a sponsor, uses almost the same.
It does not mean you will be sponsored at all for a the job you have applied.

Ah ok, in my application I have stated that I require sponsorship. What is weird is that I have been called for an interview and it is a part time job 6 month fixed term

They are likley interviewing as it is a low skilled job which you could do for 20 hours per week if you hold a tier 2.
It is a non qualifying job for tier 2, so unsure why you believed applying for a housekeeping job (part time) qualifies for sponsorship. Note you cannot work part time on Tier 2 either.
