Life in UK Test

When do I actually need to take the Life in UK Test?

Before my 1st extension? Or before ILR?

I’m on my first 2.5 year on spouse visa.

Before ILR.

It is NOT a spouse visa extension requirement but you can do the test at any time as it does not expire.
