Problems with tracking passport on Gerrys visa dropbox site

Hi,
I am wondering is anyone else out there, who has submitted a visa application in Pakistan having trouble using the passport tracking servce on the visa dropbox website and on the ukvacpk website?
My husband and I find that everytime we have entered the application number (which is the GRY-PK-XX-XXXXXX-X format), we receive an error saying it is an invalid number.

I have emailed the BHC in Islamabad and Gerry's but haven't received a reply as to why it is not working. Are we entering the wrong application number?

hi there format should be something like

QML/01012008/020202/1 then d.o.b of applicant as e.g. 01/01/1980

try that, it should be qml, then the date you handed application in then teh ref no

NOPE, that doesnt work either....nothing seems to work, its hopeless.

where did u apply , i mean if u apply at mirpur i think its a different starting to the ones in islamabad or else where

No we applied in Islamabad...Nothing works...its just pathetic really

Hi MSS,

The reference number you need should be on the receipt that your husband should have been given when after he submitted his application.

It would begin with: ISL/date of application/ref/ref
eg, ISL/240808/123456/7
then enter your husbands date of birth.

use / not -

That website is so lame, they should have instructions as to what ref you need to put in, would help if they gave an example! I tried every numb on my hubby's reciept but no joy.

Me and my hubby used to just call in every day, was easier.

I just checked one of my relitives. and i am posting here that may it will help some one.

and tha i entered reffrence number which was QML/xxxxxx/xxxx/x and underneith i puted date of birth which was xx xx xxxx in this format and it gave me status.
Hope it will help someone.

Hi guys: Does any one know how to track an application or the right format, since I have tried all the possible combination as mentioned here and on my email. But none of them works? Very strange any guess or help. ps: Applied on 15/04/14 or is it too early to check?

Its because of folks like you, that everyone else has to wait longer for visa processing times, because you waste time. It's not complex at all.

the number is something like this:

ISL/XXXXXX/XXXXXX/X

the first 3 letters are prefixes of the city where you submitted your application, and the rest are numbers...

Then in the lower boxes you add D.O.B of the applicant. example: XX/XX/XXXX.

There is a phone number you can ring..............but it costs £1.40 PER MINUTE
