Researcher visa from the US

Hello,

I am an Indian national in the US moving to Ireland to work as a researcher (Type D visa).

I was going through the US Irish consulate website. It has not listed any documents in it and directs me to the INIS webpage. I saw some country specific documents such as police verification, on Irish consulate webpages of other countries, but none listed on its US webpage. Does anyone have any experience applying a researcher visa? If so can you please list the documents you had to submit.
