PBS 2021

Hi,

I am from India and want to move to UK. I have been waiting for the new PBS system as I thought it is going to be similar to old Tier1 where you get the visa first and then get the job, but as I understand the new PBS requires your to have a job offer first.

Getting job offer without being in UK is hard, why would any company provide an offer and wait for months instead of hiring someone locally? Perhaps I am wrong.

Please can someone suggest me how to get offer letter? How to apply? I am in IT field.

It is tough. But the process no longer needs to take months. From a job offer with sponsorship to arriving in the UK may be possible within 3 weeks, and most UK nationals will have to serve at least 1 months notice when changing jobs. An expat may be able to start as quickly as a local hire. Which area of IT are you in?
