Health and Care Visa for Tier 2 Dependant extension

Post by RPS1210 » Fri Jan 15, 2021 1:28 am

Hello.

I need some advise please.

My husband is due to extend his Tier 2 dependant visa in March 2021.

I, the main applicant, have ILR through Tier 2 General- Shortage Occupation route. I still work for the same NHS Trust that previously issued the CoS for my Tier 2 visa before I qualified for ILR.

Is my husband eligible to apply for the Health and Care visa? (If i am reading paragraph 9 of the Health and Care Visa guide right) He works in the care sector as well, if that counts for anything.

Thanks in advance

As far as I understand, no. He applies for the normal dependent visa extension which will be a 3 year extension since you now have ilr.
