FLR FP extension

Post by Mdzayn » Wed Jan 06, 2021 10:11 am

Hi,

Can someone please help?
I need some advice regarding documents requirement for flr fp extention.

My wife had her first flr fp visa approved in August 2018, now applying for flr fp extension under 10 year partner route. I am doing it without the solicitor this time so want to make sure providing all the required documents. I am British and so are our kids.

I will be providing Applicants passport, visa, UK Naric certificates, Bank statements, marriage cert, kids birth certificates, my naturalisation certificate, my passport, my driving licence.

Along with this do I need to provide anything more?

Youngest child was born after applying for my wife’s visa in 2018, so do I need to provide anything for this child in specific?

I don’t remember remember providing my bank statements last time, do I need to?

My wife will be completing her 10 years stay in 2022, (all legally so far) will she need more extensions under this route or can she apply for ILR based on 10 year long stay.

Anything else in specific to provide or consider while making this extension?

Thank you.

You need to show substantial relationship between you too, so have to upload any correspondence on both of your names x 6 or if individuals then x 12 for last 2 years at least.

For your help I’ve given you the information of the documents I’ve uploaded.

Attached Documents
Personal Bank statement Myself and Wife - scattered over last 30 months
Joint Bank Statement - scattered over last 30 months
Joint Phone, Mobile, Broadband bills - scattered over last 30 months
Joint Electricity, Gas bills - scattered over last 30 months
Joint Council tax bill - scattered over last 30 months
joint Water bill - scattered over last 30 months
Credit Card statements - scattered over last 30 months
Mortgage annual statements. - scattered over last 30 months
HMRC letters - scattered over last 30 months
Pension letters - scattered over last 30 months
Nikkah Certificate 2010
Marriage Certificate 2020
Joint Holiday receipts - scattered over last 30 months
Payslips for both of us - Last 6 Months
Letter addressed to UKVI from both of our workplace
Reference letter from my manager.
And few family pictures together.
Letter from kids school.
NHS letter addressed to my kids

And most importantly a cover letter explaining the type of visa you are applying, I copied most of the material from last visa approval letter I received from UKVI.

Good luck.

Hi, I was filling out the application and got on this question about why Can’t applicant live anywhere else? So basically applicant need to explain that she has her family here and everybody is British so it’s not an option?
Are they any other tricky questions in application?
Can we fill this application on our own or do we need a solicitor?

The above is not a tricky question, answer it truthfully as it applies to you.
A straightforward application can be done by yourself with no need for solicitor. If you require clarification, assistance ask on this forum.

Hi,
I am continuing to fill my wife’s application. I came across this question about financial requirement of £18600 pa, I calculated and my income is around that much.
My question is
a) As I will say applicant’s partner income is more than £18600, will this still be FLR FP or FLR FM application?
b) We are living in temporary (interim) accommodation of 3 bedrooms for more than 6 months now. I was the main applicant for this, not my wife. I am paying rent regularly. We have utilities bills and council tax bill on our joint names, does this effect her application if it is shifted to FLR M?
I am claiming housing benefit, no claims are on my wife’s name.

Your answers really help, thank you.

a) As I will say applicant’s partner income is more than £18600, will this still be FLR FP or FLR FM application? If you are earning the required amount of £18,600 you can use this and meeting English Language Requirement to switch her to 5year route FLRM.

No it does not affect her application negatively as you stated she is not claiming public funds.

Thanks a ton for replying. So should I continue in the same form? Or use FLR FM form and restart all over again?

If all requirements are met for switching and you wish to then fill FLR M.

Yes, the requirements are fulfilled, she has uk naric certificates to prove her English language requirement(this was done when we applied for flr fp last time). I only had doubts due to accommodation, which you cleared. Thank you for your help, I will start with the new flr m form.

You cannot use benefits that you have stated to meet the financial requirements. Benefits is not your money, it is the taxpayers/governments money.

Hi, thanks for replying... where in the form should I mention these then? There wasn’t any question related to fill this info so far, is it there in further questions? Or we don’t require to mention this?

By the way, I am working and paying tax. Financial requirements are met by my income.

Ok, will do that then... thank you... just one more question for now, are online printouts for bank statements fine for corresponding payslips? The banks seems to have changed policies and no longer agreeing for stamps on them..any advice?

They are acceptable so far as resemble what you will ordinarily receive by post from the bank.
