Post by firestar786 » Sat Aug 01, 2020 2:56 pm

Hi.
I plan on doing this myself and was wondering where I find it online? Everything is very onerous.

Thanks.

Just apply before its expiry and these will remain valid even where the process gets procrastinated.

spouse visa - application asked if she has a degree?

Post by firestar786 » Thu Aug 20, 2020 4:44 pm

Hi.
as part of the application online it asks if she has a degree taught in English.

Now, I clicked yes.

Now they're asking me for a NARIC certificate even though my missus is doing her A1 test on the 3rd September.

Is it just easier to put she doesnt have a degree because the checklist is adamant she now she now needs proof of NARIC.

tHANKS.

Topics merged!!

Put NO for the degree question. It is only relevant to meeting the English requirment. UKVI don't care what her qualifications are for any other reason.

SPOUSE VISA - they are asking for 12 months payslips?

Post by firestar786 » Thu Aug 20, 2020 4:46 pm

Hi.
as part of the online application, they want 12 months payslips in the last year.

Now I have only been at the company I work for, for 9 months but I have earned over the £9300 threshold in any of those 6 months.

I was self employed before my current job so dont have payslips.

Maybe someone can point me in the right direction.

Thanks.

in salaried employment, but also director of Ltd company

Post by firestar786 » Thu Aug 20, 2020 4:53 pm

Hi.
as per the financial requireemnt I meet it because of my salaried employment

However the application also asks if Im the director of a Ltd company.
Now, I plan on being but it then asks me to provide evidence of which I have only just started my ltd company...

So how does that work?

If I provide my 6 months payslips, and happen to be a director of a ltd company, do I need to provide that info as well?

Thanks

Say "no" to the question asking your directorship since you are not relying that income and supply 6 months of payslips with bank statements under category A. But remember that even if you are not using your director income but still your tax affairs must be amicable with HMRC as UKVI most often liaise with them.

Preferably use any public body/institute. In many countries national ID card issuing department or local union council offer that. You can even use ukvcas for translation which might be bit expensive.

spouse visa - employer letter?

Post by firestar786 » Sun Nov 01, 2020 1:07 pm

[employers address]
[UKVI address]

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

Dear Sir or Madam,

This letter is to certify that Mr XXX XXXXX has been employed as a XXXXXXX at XXXXXX LIMITED since 1st January 2017. His contract is permanent.
His monthly pay is based on a fix salary (XXXXX GBP / XXXXXXX GBP p.a.) as well as variable pay components (unlimited, varies according to own performance). For the period January to September 2020 his gross income amounts to XXXXXXX GBP. Assuming a similar progression, his annual gross salary for 2020 will be at XXXXXXX GBP.
In case of any further question, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Best regards

___________________________
Mr. XXXXX XXXXXX
Managing Director XXXXXXXX LTD.
I am guessing I need to add my employers address, UKVI address at the top and then finally confirmation on the letter than my payslips are authentic and valid.

Any other suggestions besides this?

Thank you.

You can even type "To whom it may concern" instead writing any UKVI address.

Thank you guys.

I wanted to compile a lost of time sensitive documents (within 28 days)

1. bank statements STAMP
2. last payslips
3. housing report
4. mortgage statement
5. employers letter

if there are any other time sensitive documents to add to this list, that would be great!

You don't need number 3 if you/your family member own the house. Also if possible then stretch the title register too within 28 days.

You do not need to certify them. They are independently verifiable by HO if need be.

If doing self upload, there is no limit to how much evidence to upload however a sensible guidelines is to select enough to show the progress of the relationship over time.

Re: spouse visa - employer letter?

Thanks for helping me guys,

Does the land registry title deed and mortgage statement (if you own your own home) have to be certified?

must my bank statement show the first mortgage payment taken from my bank account, or is this not necessary?

Also, is it necessary to provide a gas/elec bill or otherwise?

I have just bought a home and would apply for my spouse visa as soon as I get my mortgage statement and land registry so other bills might not be available straight away(?)

Finally, I do not think my employer has headed paper as such, if they dont, providing it has all the correct information does the headed paper matter that much?

Thanks
