Tier 2(General) Dependent Visa Outside UK

I'm currently at London with Tier 2 Visa and my wife is in my home country. Now I would like to bring my wife here and want to apply for her Visa as my dependent. I have the following query:

Do I need to show any maintenance fund for my wife? (please note: When I applied for my Tier 2 Visa, I did not show any maintenance fund as my sponsor certified my maintenance on my CoS).

I am sure you need to show maintenance however, like you I did not have to show maintenance for my own tier2 application for being here for over 12 months.

My question therefore is the same, do we need to show maintenance for a partner's application when we didn't have to show maintenance for our own applications,
if YES, then
is it £630 for 3 consecutive months, OR
is it £285 for 28 consecutive days?

Could anyone assist please?
