Tier 2 (general) --> ILR, financial sponsor consent

Post by angelu1987 » Mon Apr 26, 2021 8:31 am

Hello everyone,

I am close to submitting my ILR application. I have fulfilled my 5 years under Tier 2 General visa.

My question is:

- Would I need to get my employer to sign consent 3 (Consent for the Home Office to verify information from third party sponsor). The instructions outline that any person/persons providing financial support to the applicant (me) would need to sign the declaration.

My employer has already provided me with employment letter containing the relevant information. Would I need them to sign consent 3 as well? Technically they pay me, which is providing financial support?

Thanks.

Angela
