Travel Date & few other queries - senior members pls com

To senior members,

I have received my UK Tier 1 visa stamped from 26/09/2008 to 26/09/2011.

1. Can I travel UK anytime during my VISA is valid, or do I need to travel within 3 months only from my VISA stamping date (i.e. by 26/12/2008)?

2. Also, my son’s passport expiry date is 15/02/2009. But his VISA is valid until 26/09/2011. Can he travel UK on any date before his passport expiry date? e.g. in this circumstance can he travel on 30/01/2009 to UK and then get the passport extended in UK itself?

Please advise.

Hi there,

So,

1. I can travel UK anytime during my VISA is valid, no need to travel within 3 months only from my VISA stamping date.

2. Also, my son’s passport expiry date is 15/02/2009. But his VISA is valid until 26/09/2011. He can travel UK on any date before his passport expires. e.g. in this circumstance he can travel on 30/01/2009 to UK and then get the passport extended in UK itself.
