EuFam or relevant visa for spouses of Irish citizen

Post by klick02 » Wed Jun 23, 2021 10:00 am

Folks,

I have recently become an Irish citizen by naturalization. My spouse is on stamp 4 visa which they got after working on stamp 1 for 2 years.
Is it worthwhile to apply for a EUFAM stamp 4 going forward or should my spouse remain on their current normal stamp 4 visa?
Would EUFAM Stamp 4 provides any benefits to spouses of Irish citizen around visa-free travel around EU region?

Thanks

EUFAM permissions are not given out to spouses of Irish nationals.

Thank you littlerr.

Understood. So, my spouse should continue on their Stamp 4 ? Basically there is no other provision or way other than applying for a Schengen visa to travel in EU for them?
