supporting documents received before British passport

applied on 7th june
received documents by hmp bootle on 8th june
22nd june application is in process
supporting received on 1st july--with a small note your application is in process
application still pending--

is it normal.

has anyone faced this situation

normally the documents come after you received your british passport

That's strange because you receive supporting documents at the last stage.
Spoke to hmpo and I have been told there is no set rule of sending passport first and supporting documents later.

But I was wondering if someone has faced similar situation

An interview has been booked.


So if your supporting documents are received prior to your british passport

It means an interview has been booked.

Interview booked for 8th July.
On 6th july
Used hmpo twitter account to confirm if my interview is booked and I have been told u don't need to attend an interview after few hours received confirmation that your passport is being printed.
