Spouse and 2 kids Visa extensions and Overdraft

Hi All,

My partner and 2 x kids visa extensions are due in Dec 2021. I meet the financial requirement and have been working for the current employer for over 2 years.I have used my bank overdraft facility of £500 which will be reflected in the bank statement for the month of July 2021, i will be submitting this statement for visa extension applications in Dec 2021.

Is this something to worry about?

Your overdraft and how you spend your money is irrelevant. UKVI is only concerned about your income

I don't have any proof of address for my Spouse for 2019 and 2020. The most recent one is from March 2021 and then the following months, though I (sponsor) can provide statements, bills etc for 2019 and 2020.

Annual Council Tax Statement (Joint) - March 2021
Water Bill (Joint) - March 2021
NHS Letter (spouse) - June 2021
Can provide spouse statement and bills for the months (July 2021 - December 2021)

Is it mandatory to provide spouse proof of address for 209/2020. Also, i don't think there is a requirement of proof of address for kids?

Each applicant pays the same visa fee yes regardless of age, so £1033 visa fee plus IHS fee each.

How do we calculate the IHS fee?

Visa's were issued on the 13/04/2019 and valid till the 13-01-22

For your spouse, it is £624 x 2.5 years for an extension. So that is £1,560 IHS fee plus £1033 visa fee (current fee rates).

For children, it is £470 x 2.5 years for an extnsion. So it would be £1,175 IHS fee plus £1033 visa fee (current fee rates).

624 x 2.5 = £1560
470 x 2.5 = £1175 dependent under 18

We have a third child born on the 18th of June 2021, will we have to submit any documents for his existence?

Birth registration appointment is scheduled for the 27th of September, there are no earlier appointments available. Not sure how long it takes for the Birth Certificate to be issued, will apply for his passport following that. I am aiming to submit the visa application by the 23rd of December.

Except for the passport and biometric residence permits, is there a requirement to submit other documents I.e from school or GP etc for 2 x dependent kids?

Uploaded digitally on the UKCVAS portal before the biometrics appointments.

I have a full time job and am also self employed.

My full time employment meet the financial requirement. Do i need to declare my self employment as well?

Keep it simple and stick to your full time employment to meet financial requirements.

Wouldn't they query the deposits (self employed income) in the bank statements?

Will the HO accept 2 x letters I.e. annual mortgage statement issued in January 2020 and January 2021 as evidence that I and my spouse have been living together continuously in the UK since you were last granted, or do we have to provide a bill or a statement from each service provider/financial institution?

It is nothing to worry about. Verifiable income that meets financial threshold is what HO is after not how you conduct your expended.

Please can someone share sample cover letters?
