List of Documents for HSMP Extension

Post by khanz » Wed Oct 29, 2008 8:05 am

Hi Everybody,

My HSMP extension is due in December. Visa is valid till 18th December. As I had got my initial Approval Letter in November 2006, so, I fall under JR.

I have following questions in my mind:

1. When should I send my case to Home Office keeping in view the visa going to expire on 18-12-2008.

2. What documents I have to send? I intend to send the following along with the Application Form:

a. Debit Card details for fee payment.
b. Passport
c. 2 PP size photographs
d. Last 12 months payslips
e. Last 12 months Current (Salary) Account statement.
f. Last 12 months Savings Account Statement.

Please advise if I am missing anything.

Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Zahid Khan

Hi khanz

Do make sure that you received your initial HSMP approval letter before 7 November 2006.

In the UKBA website, it states that you can apply 4-6 weeks before your current leave. I phoned the Home Office before i sent mine in and they said to send it anytime as soon as possible due to the long waiting period.

If you are applying under judicial review, use the FLR TIER 1 HSMP form (July 2008 version), you also need;

1. passport and previous passports where previous leave has been approved
2. 2 passport sized photos
3. 12 months pay slips
4. 12 months bank statments with or without a P60 form
5. Latest job contract or letter from employer may help

Keep your application simple, unncessary documents may make matters worse

Hi Goji,

Thanks for your reply.
My approval letter was dated 27th November 2006 but I have already confirmed from HO that my case falls under old category.

Thanks for giving the list of documents. I am going to send my case on this weekend. It will become six and half weeks before expiry.

I have also included the followings docs now:

1. Copy of my appointment letter.
2. Copy of recent Increment Letter.
3. P-60 Form which I was given by my Employer in May this year.

Thanks,
Zahid

HSMP Extension

Post by khanz » Tue Nov 04, 2008 8:24 am

Hi again,

I am going to send my case for extension at this weekend.
Somebody told me that I should send my Rent Agreement too.
Any suggestions? Should I really send it or not?

Thanks,
Zahid
