Applying for UK fiance visa and potentially getting married while awaiting decision.

Good evening,

What would happen if while awaiting for a decision regarding fiance visa application, we would get married in my fiancé's country of residence.

It might sound strange, but we are awaiting court ruling which will hopefully allow us to get married. However, because it could take 6 months, I want to take chances with fiance visa application while waiting for court decision.

You could vary the fiancé visa application to a spouse visa application
