Can I cancel my HSMP visa?

Post by immaad » Sun Nov 23, 2008 2:06 pm

I got HSMP approval and entry clearance in early 2008. According to HSMP rules at that time I got 2 years entry clearance. Now after introduction of Tier 1 with 3 years of entry clearance, can I apply fresh for Tier 1 and get a new visa? Any links to official guidlines are appreciated.

P.S.: I never went to UK after my EC.

looks like you've a lot of dosh to fork out.
The answer to your question is, yes you can apply for Tier 1 visa.

Yes, its all about dosh :D
I had to go to another contract after I got approval.

Anyways, is there any special application procedure for that? Or they will just cancel my previous visa if they decide to grant Tier 1?

If granted your new visa overrides your previous one.
