First time passport for a baby (non-Irish EU parent)

Post by owlyowl » Fri Jun 17, 2022 7:26 pm

Hello,

I recently had a baby in Ireland. I'm an EU citizen, lived here for 4+ years and my partner lived here for 4+ years on stamp 4.

I found this link using the search:
https://www.dfa.ie/passports/documentar ... .en.357877

I have a clarification question: if I can provide P60 or equivalent for every year to prove my residence, do I need to provide bank statements/rental contracts/etc ?

Unfortunately the passport customer service is not working at all because they are too busy (what a disgrace).

It looks yo me that all the various proofs of residence are just examples and that you would only need to supply any of those examples, not all of them.

So I would think just the P60s would be enough.

Maybe give two different proofs per year just to be safe?

Yeah, it's just not 100% clear. I can provide 3 proofs but it will be a waste of paper :D
