Certificate of Naturalization prior to Ceremony?

Post by Patka248 » Wed Jan 25, 2023 10:36 pm

Hello,

In the "2021 Citizenship Applications Timelines" post I've seen people mentioning that they got their certificate of naturalization before the ceremony. I was wondering if this is still possible, and if it is what do you need to do to receive it?

I got my approval in December and paid the fee, and my wife is waiting for my citizenship to be able to apply herself (and need to supply documentation for only 3 years), so would like to avoid having to wait for the next ceremony if possible...

Which ones do you mean? Mind linking them here?

Most likely, it was a temporary arrangement due to covid, now discontinued, hence I'd say no such thing is possible at the moment.

Thanks for the info!

@meself2 - here's a post from the 2021 timelines, page 15 (not sure if there's a better way to link a post?):
