Address in UK

Hi Friends,
VFS asked me to submit the address of where am goin to stay in UK, but i couldnt find this requirement for applying Tier 1 any where.
Please guide me.

You should inform him that this is not a requirement as per the Tier 1 guidance notes. Would suggest you to take a copy of the guidance notes in case he insists.

You could have called the VFS call center right away and had over the phone to the person. I had to do this in ICICI bank as well when they refused to provide the statement.

080 4008 4008 is the call centre number.

VFS officer will NOT insist on the address if you are making a tier 1 app.

they will , first of all, ensure you have submitted the mandatory docs. then comes the queries on a) acco proof b) resume , job search result c) itr forms, et al.

for non mandatory docs, you can say ... i am not carrying them.

Few VFS officials have no clue about the process.

They tend to treat all applications equally.

Explain to them why you are not carrying them and they should be OK.
