Naturalisation online - Non EU

Post by Brpandu » Thu May 02, 2024 5:23 am

Hi all.
Can you please help me out with my doubts.. really appreciate it. I am a Non-EU with children who are Irish citizens and graduated my masters here. My application for naturalisation is based on Residency.

My questions:
1. should I upload copies of my children's passports and birth certs along with my application? - ( also upload my Masters cert or transcript from Uni ??)

2. When saving documents, should I combine documents of different types into one file per year? For example, "EDA & Utilities 2020-2021," or should I upload each document separately?

3. I have 40-day gaps due to waiting for a decision on Stamp 4 based on my children. Should I attach a letter explaining these gaps?

Thanks so much guys

Don't think so; why would they need it?

Up to you, but imo better to keep them separate so they know where each document starts/ends

Did you have several gaps of 40 days each? That's quite a hefty one. Was it not flagged in the calendar?

I'd say you're better off attaching a letter just in case.

Hi meself2,

Thanks so much for the feedbacks .. means so much!

1. I thought it might help my application
3. Yes, I had a visa gap from 18th Jan to 2 March 2020 during my 5,5 year residency. :(

Maybe this is a silly question, I have zero knowledge about this. researched, but I haven't found the answer: do we attach the Zambrano approval letter or the GNIBs??

Thanks a mill

1) It won't, naturalization is decided on your own merits.
3) That's not ideal; did you have permission beforehand and it was due to delays with ISD side? Did you already have approved permission?

I didn't use the online system so don't know what you attach, but my suggestion would be to do IRPs - they are the expected immigration documents.

meself2,

Yes,
2019 - 18 Jan 2020 - Stamp 4 based on Irish spouse
Nov 2019 : applied stamp 4 based on parentage to Irish children to INIS (by post)
2nd March 2020: got approval letter

IRPs- Perfect !! Thanks again
