Joint Citizenship Application

Post by lomo » Wed Oct 16, 2024 4:50 pm

Hi,

Both myself and my wife have obtained ILR on 10 year long residence route and we have spent more than 12 months after obtaining ILR. We are now ready to apply for Citizenship.

I have filled my naturalisation application online and I realised that I can add other applicants to the same application. Does this mean that I can add my wife to the same online application and we can make a joint citizenship application? Earlier I though we had to make two separate applications.

Please can anyone tell me whether we can make a joint application or whether we need to apply separately. Thanks.

The form allows both of you to apply. But each application is still assessed separately, whether you apply "jointly" or separately. There's no concept of joint or family application. And no discount on the fees.
This is just my opinion as a member of this forum and does not constitute immigration advice.
