Hi,

I have all the paperwork required for Spouse Visa extension.
My only problem is passing A2 (my friend is posting the post).

My husband, son are both British citizens.

What if I cant pass A2 for extension of my visa?
Can UKBA refuse spouse visa extension, esp when my newly son is 2 years old & he's a British citizen?

Any expert comment please?

Most likely, your friend who can't passed the A2 test will be moved from the five year spouse visa route to the ten year spouse visa route.

If she later passes the A2 test, she could move back to the five year spouse visa route, but with the clock reset to zero (i.e. all her previous time on the five year spouse visa route and the ten year spouse visa route will not be counted).

Note that even on the ten year spouse visa route, she need to meet the English language B1 test to apply for both ILR and British citizenship.
