Third World rural applicant proving income

Post by tTlla Tech » Mon Feb 23, 2009 2:51 am

Hi
I want to sponsor my mother in law to come to the UK to visit her daughter(who is waiting for a late FLR M application decision from HO) and grandchildren. She is a widow living with her daughter-in -aw and granddaughter and lives 'off the land'.

How does she show her income since she dosent use bank accounts.

Also will the fact that I am self employed but in receipt of Tax credits and housing benefit adversley affect my sponsorship ability.

Many Thanks in advance

If she doesnt use bank accounts and lives 'off the land', she must have property contracts in her name or something like that...

But, in my opinion, since you are on benefit, it really adversely affects your sponsoring ability.
