I am looking for jobs from last December. But in vain.
I believe that there should be some problem with my resume.

It would be nice if some one can send U.K. resume to my mail ID, so that I could modify mine accordingly.

Plz send it to: v.amaresh@gmail.com

Thanks

the market is as good as dead.. there are hardly any new jobs. unless you have a niche skill set or market conditions improve drastically, i think it will be difficult to get a job from india.

They can still try can't they?! Christ, just go sit indoors and do nothing if you feel that strongly theat theres nothing out there. Stop posting on here and just deflating people.

Of course don't leave your job and come to the UK expecting to find a job straight away but you can still look whilst you are in employment in your home country and then come here in you find something. I'm fed up of all these negative posts.

Im in Uk for over 8 years and when I moved from London to Manchester I was looking for Job. I have spent hours and hours calling agencies , HR departments and sending our resumes...but no luck. No money, no luck and I was away from all of my friends in a different town.

ANd my friend told me how it works. He said " I will never think twice if I see a single grammatical mistake in a CV". English people are weird they see the difference between "i" and "I" and everything has to be in a particular order.

I have used this CV templates for my CV and cover letter http://www.cv4you.com/p/vbb there few things about it that drew my attention:
1. It is written by employers
2. It is constantly updated

Good luck!

Hi All,

It has always been said that your CV is vital in your job search... I have been looking for some good resources where I can find effective CV format used in UK...

It has been quite a long time for me but not able to get even one interview call... I believe something is wrong with my CV...

I sincerely request all people to please share their resume which has proved benificial for them which would be of great help for me...

My email id is awasthi_vivek@rediffmail.com

Is is suggested to go for some professional CV writing service.

I would also request sajan.chandran, gujalls and ashokkumar to share if they have received some usefull information and CV format from forum.

Looking forward for your help

Regards
