Could someone please advise what are the personal information (copy of passport etc etc) I should be providing with the letter?

If I send a letter(with payment) detailing my HO ref no, would that be sufficient?

Its better if you send then copy of your Visa, HSMP/Tier I, Passport etc...

Thank you for the link. But the link does not mention specifically what exactly I need to send (other than a letter & the payment). I remember there was a previous thread about this topic. Have you seen that link?

I sent the following documents with my application:

1. HO reference - in my case, this comprised copies of my original WP and HSMP approval letter.

2. Copy of Council Tax Invoice for current address proof.

There is no written rule with regards documents to send. The info I sent was purely out of common-sense - they first need to identify who I am, and then send the requested info to my address.

I believe you do not need to send any document for SAR.

You can write like this.

Your Name.

Your DOB

Adress

Nationality

HO Ref.

Dear Sirs

I would be very thankful to you if you could disclouse all contents of my file including all home office and personal records.

Yours turly

Enclose relevant fee make payable to Accounting officer Home office
Sign the letter and recorded post and keep copy for your recod as well.and make sure your signatue on SAR match with the home office record.
