London postal workers begin strike!

Could a visa application get any worse??

I wonder what this will mean for visas being sent to London. HO will still be able to send them, but they will not arrive on time...could get lost as mail piles up in the sorting office...

Some more information. Royal Mail plans on trying to reduce the impact as much as possible...hopefully it works!

These people are just crazy and silly! We're all affected by this credit crunch and economic situation, and why must they strike every time???

Just chill guys...

The Govt needs to be tougher but they themselves are surrounded by many invoices. While so many of us have gone through pay cuts and job losses. The Unions are playing hard-ball here.

We have come across so many obstacles. 3 days strike is nothing.

When did you apply? And are you under Tier1 extension.
This strike means that if you expecting your documents back, are they hold off posting it. What about Special Delivery?

ya Tier1 Extension. I am expecting my result any time...SD also affected i think

It seems like they have done well to avert problems. No mail came yesterday but mail did come today. Not bad!
