Change from HSMP to Tier 1 (General)

Post by 10LONDON » Thu Jul 09, 2009 4:58 pm

Change from HSMP to Tier 1 (General)
In country application.
• Application sent on 17th June.
• Acknowledgement letter received 22nd June
• Passport and document received with visa on 25th June
Visa granted for 3 years.
It’s very quick (5 working days) service postal service although I was thinking of applying in person but very difficult to get an appointment. If anyone wants to apply in person make sure you book your appointment at least 3-4 months advance.

Documents sent:
1. No cover letter
2. One year’s payslip
3. Tax- P60
4. Employer letter with job and salary payment confirmation
5. One year bank statement
6. All other documents were submitted with previous HSMP application so didn’t require to submit with this application.

Hi
My visa will expire on 30th Aug 2009. I have claimed 80 points but awarded 85.
