Hi, Check out the following site, it provides most of the information you asked about, and has extensive free (for now) online tests which you can use to help prepare for the actual Life in The UK Test: http://www.uk-citizenship-test.com

The actual test costs £33.28 - so it's best to be thouroughly prepared before you attempt it.

On the second point - the following page should provide all the information you require: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/ukres ... formset(m) (include the (m))

Good Luck ... !!!!

You can apply for ILR 28 days before the (equivalent) date you first entered the UK.
When you're studying for the Life in the UK test, you only need to study chapters 2-6.
