Bank deposit percents for earning

Post by birdtutti » Wed Dec 16, 2009 1:29 pm

Hello,

my question is:

Can I use percents which I have monthely from my bank deposit as my annual earning? I created this deposit after selling my property and have documents stated this. In this case I will have only one proof about my earnings - the bank certificate.
I am applying outside UK, and I do not receive salary now as I am on maternity vacation

hope, somebody can help me

Lena

Nope you can't.

You can't count property, shares, interest etc under earnings.

FROM HMRC point of view this is yr income but HO only considered income earned by Applicants by way of personal skill
