how do i use the uplift ratio?

hi everyone,

I am considering applying for a Tier 1 visa. however, i am not sure how to calculate my previous earning.

I am in South Korea (uplift ration of 2.3)

in the past 12 consecutive months, i have earned 31,200,000won
converting this to pounds on Oanda= 18,302.4

does this mean that i multiply 18,302.4 by 2.3? so...
18,302.4 x 2.3= 42095, 52

would that amount be the equivalent of my previous earnings in pounds? do when i do an online assessment, do i select the 40 000+ salary band?

You are absolutely correct! Make sure that you apply the exchange rate correctly, as per the guidance!

Guidance refers to Tier-I guidance available on UKBA website. Please go through this completely before attempting to fill the application.
