Masters degree obtained through virtual learning

Hi,

We are from India and my husband is about to complete his masters degree from Illinois Institute of Technology,US through a virtual/online learning .Can you kindly let me know whether the foll will be applicable for HSMP(Tier 1)

1.If we can score points for this masters degree obtained through distance education(Degree is Masters in Computer Science)
2.Whether we can score points for English language proficiency as well.

All you have to do is check thepoints based calculator for your eliibility

1. If the degree is available on the calculator, then you can apply.
2. For English proof, if your degree is taught in English and available on the PBS calculator, then you can send either one of them.

Is this virtual/online OR distance learning? .... is it same?

you can check with NARIC and if they recognize, it should no be a problem.
