Tier1 dependent maintenance fund

Hi Members,
I require one clarification and vfs India is unable to provide it.
I am in UK for more than 2 years (tier1).I am planning to apply for my wife as dependent. How much maintance fund is required?

1. 800+533 =1333
or
2. 800+1600 = 2400

I think the policy says the first one. However, vfs told £1600, which does not match anything.
Can anyone confirm?
A clear policy reference as appreciated.

Yes 1st option £800 + £533 = 1333 required as maintanace fund

I am in UK from last 2 months (april 2010) but have visa since jan 2009. I got maried 4 months back now I want to bring my wife on dependent visa. I am working fulltime and in UK less than 12 month what is the fund maintenance amount I should maintain for 3 months :-
£1600+£2800 = £4400 or
£1600 +£800 = £ 2400 or
£1600 + £1600 = £3200

My wife has mainatined Rs.1.3 lakhs (£1800 approx) and I have 1.5 lakhs (£2100) in our indian bank account since last 2 month.
Are we elibigle to apply next month?

I read the PBS depedent guideline point 40,41 and 42 several time but not able to interpret the exact meaning. please help.
