Appointment system - so many available? am i wrong?

Post by xyz123 » Thu Sep 09, 2010 10:27 am

hi

i have been looking for ILR appointment at Croydon PEO. I finally booked for 15th october.

but everytime i logged in during last 4 weeks there were so many appointments available. There are a lot of posts on internet on this subject and apparent difficulty in getting an appointment.

i booked appointment for SET(o) excluding long residency for two. Appointment conirmation printed only mentions main applicant and not dependent.

am i doing something wrong?

Regards
Jaldhi

I don't think so. I had the same experience, started looking 2 weeks ago for appointments for me and the wife for next week and there were plenty available for Croydon. Finally got very lucky with saturday 18th appointment.

If in doubt, you can always check with the helpline

Approximately 24 hours after booking an appointment, you get something callled a booking reference number. If you give this reference number to the helpline, they can confirm if all the dependents are included or not.

From my experience, not very easy at all. I tried to add my wife onto my appointment but the lady on the phone said that there was no way to do that. So I cancelled that appointment but had to wait 3 days for my login and transaction ids to be freed up. Luckily it allowed me to go for a saturday appointment.

I called up the home office to confirm the booking as I didn't have names on the confirmation email. The lady asked who is the main applicant and who is the dependant??!! I had made the appointment and added my wife as a family member. I'm a little bit concerned now!!
