Even I have the same question. Sorry vinny, the two links you have posted have not asnwered the question fully.

Assuming it is the Tier 1 Dependent foorm, what to answer for the questions:

What is the dependant’s current immigration status in the United Kingdom?

Has the dependant ever stayed in the United Kingdom beyond the end of his/her period of leave?

Leave blank?

When question(s) cannot be answered due to the fact that the applicant is born in the UK, common sense suggests that you state the same - "applicant born in the UK" - in response to such questions!

One of the parents should sign the form (as normal).

Yup. Some ppl provide proof of residence as well - tenancy agreement but its not mentioned in the Guidance Notes and I think it is not required.

Read the statement again. I think you are missing the comma there and what exactly the statement says:
For dependants of Tier 2 and Tier 4 Migrants, this is also an application for a Biometric Immigration Document.
To further clarify - the form is for PBS dependants. In addition, for the T-2 & T-4 the form is also an application for Biometric Immigration Document. Also note that they have revised the fees and the forms too have been amended accordingly.
