Hello everyone! i have two questions?

1, I am about to renew my passport which is expiring soon, i want to find out how i can get my visa transfered to the new one. Do i go to croydon for visa transfer or make a fresh application? (if i have to make a fresh application, is it advisable to include a covering letter requesting the IO to speed up the process as i need to travel by April for a wedding)

2, Is it compulsory that i bear my hubby's surname name or can i use it as a middle name attached to mine?

Not sure what visa you are talking about but if it is a residence card then you will need to make a new application. And no, there is no way to speed it up.
