COA- sending partner's passport & getting them back?

I am about to send off my COA application,
It says in Section 2 Note 2: “…need to see fiance’s passport…arrange it for it to be sent to our Croydon Officeâ€

Both passports should be sent with the application and as you have a straight forward, you should get your COA within 8 weeks.
