Still concerned

Post by KC8010 » Sat Jan 29, 2011 1:09 am

Hi everyone

I am still very very confused and concerned about applying for my son on MN1.

As you all must well know now I have been approved for BC - due to take ceremony next week.

I want to now apply for registration for my minor child on form MN1.

Briefly the minor was born in South Africa and gained PR in Dec 2007. Dad is European. The problem is dad and I are seperating and he is moving to Ireland. No where on the Guides for MN1 does it state anything to describe my situation. I am worried that I will get into trouble because I never applied for him when I applied - however the funds were a problem.

I know various people here have stated it will fall under section 3(1) of the British Nationality Act i.e. under the HO own discretion.

What is the likelihood of the application being successful do you think?

Any advice will be appreciate.
