Do i need English Test for extension?

Post by tuliprose » Sun Apr 24, 2011 6:52 am

Hello

I have completed my 120 credit hours from Anglia Ruskin University and now only needs to do Project which is 60 Credit hours. So technically i have completed my Post Graduate Diploma.

Besides above, i have got UK Bachelor equivalent Degree from Pakistan which was taught in English and have got NARIC report as well.

My visa expires on 30 June and my course expected completion date is in August.

The new rules from 21st Apr require English Proficiency Test to get the visa. And my question is, do i need to IELTS or equivalent to get my leave to remain.

Any suggestions please post.

Many thanks.

Thanks for replying.

But still its confused as my institution says that I am enrolled in Masters Course and have not finished my degree yet and i do not hold NVQ Level 7 degree physically.

What do you think of this case?

You have already studied in the Uk although u dont hold the degree but you have passed all your examinations, so your level of english is up to standards

Shouldnt be a problem...

I think you don't have to since you studied there. It means that you past the standards.

That's all understandable and passed all 10 out of 11 courses.
But college is not issuing CAS without English Proficiency requirement.

highly trusted institute like universities hold authority to asses thier students internaly and exempt thier english requirement. secondly if you have not secured any uk qualification from any approved awarding body then you require english proficiancy. any ongoing qualification cannot exempt this requirement.
