I Have applied in tier 4 general student category on 15th april.please advice me that which rules apply to me regarding dependent.should i need to apply for my dependent before july or i can apply for her later after july?[/b]

1. U need to apply for her visa before her expiry date of the dependent visa.
2. The requirements will be current ones at the time wen u apply.

Are you and your wife currently outside the UK or inside?

Is your course undergraduate or postgraduate? How long is it? Are you government sponsored?

Are you going to be studying at a university or a private college?

We are out of Uk currently.
My course will be undergraduate and i will be studying in a private college.

As the rules currently stand you can bring you wife but the rules will change in July and you will not be able to sponsor your wife after then. You should therefore make the application for your wife before the rules change.

as I have applied according to the old policy ,don't u think old rules will apply on me after july?

you have only applied for yourself and not your wife. The rules in place at the time of your wifes application are the rules that will apply.

for how long would be the funds maintained for dependent visa?and could they be maintained in a joint account of me and my dependent?and in which country do i need to maintain the funds in UK or my origin country?

do i need to maintain the funds for my spouse in a joint account or it can be maintained in a individual account of mine or her?

do i need to maintain any other amount for my self when applying for dependent?(in spite of 533*9)
