Query on OCI

Hi Guys, I m in process of applying oci and have following questions.

1) Do you get the original Indian passport back with surrender certificate

2) Do you have to submit all old/expired passport also or just the last valid passport. My ILR stamp was on the passport which had expired.


Lastly, is in person surrender any quicker then postal?

Yes you will get revoked Indian passport
You need to submit only valid passport
yes, in person is quicker....it took 5 working days for me

I didn't want to loose my old indian passport . Glad that I can keep it with me
. It still have my first visa and lot of other memories attached to it.
