Occupation codes of practice - Tier 1

Dear Sir

I plan to apply ILR soon. The visa I have is work permit holder (2 years) + tier 1 (3 years) in same company

I was promoted after 3 years in the same company.

Just curious here. Does my paid need to meet the 'Occupation codes of practice'?

And does my letter need to mentions the job as stated in the codes of practice for Tier 2 sponsors.
