Passport on marriage name

Post by ChIrl » Wed Sep 07, 2011 7:58 pm

Can the applicant submit passport application to issue passport on married name while applying for passport after getting naturalisation certificate on the maiden name?

Appreciate your views.

I would see no problem in doing so if you provide your marriage certificate with the application.

This is what I'm planning on doing when I'm hopefully granted citizenship, as all other documents are in my maiden name, so I've stuck with that for my citizenship application, rather than confuse them :)
