Apply to USA from the UK

Post by NoBorders » Tue Oct 18, 2011 2:38 am

Hi,

I have a masters degree which I have just completed in the UK. I also have a post study work visa, which I have recently got, for two years.

I was wondering, would I be able to apply to move to USA from the UK, or do I have to go back to my home country, India.

I am unsure as to how to apply, etc.

Any help would be greatfully appreciated.

Thanks

ps.Note for Admins, please don't delete, I have posted a similar message on the Canada forum

Hi. On what basis do you plan to "apply to move to USA from the UK"?

I would like to settle there (or Canada) and start a new life for myself to be honest.

But I am unsure what route to take, I don't know anything about the US immigration system.

Have a look also at http://forums.immigration.com/ for the different routes.

If you have a masters degree then it may easier to go to Canada based on their 'points system'
