query regarding tier 1 visa extension

Post by vivekbhadra » Fri Dec 09, 2011 4:04 pm

Hi there,

This is a query regarding my tier 1 visa extension in Nov, 2012. I am operating through my limited company. Now there is an aspect which called the VAT gain i.e. company gets back some part of the VAT after VAT submission. My question is, is this something I can include in my yearly income while submitting for the extension in Nov 2012? I am the director and the sole share holder in my company.

My visa is valid till 1st Dec, 2012. So may you please also let me know when should I have to apply for the extension?

Thanks and Regards,
Vivek

Vat gain comes when business follow fix rate vat method

for eg IT contractors following a 13 % payment to hmrc and get 20 % from client , any thing left form 7 % after charging vat suffered on purchases is gain and is income for HMRC AS WELL AS visa purpose

you can add in net profit such gains
