EU3 application decision overdue

Post by infinita » Tue Jan 24, 2012 9:10 am

Hi all,

I wonder if anyone else is on the same boat as myself.

My EU3 application decision was due on Jan 12. So far I haven't heard from immigration yet. They have previously confirmed to me via email that I 'have submitted adequate documentation' back in July.

I sent two emails and one letter to them last week. They didn't get back to me either.

My GNIB card is expired too. :(

Write to them informing them that they have a legal obligation to issue you with a decision within 6 months.

You should also in the meantime, as IQU said, contact Solvit, who should be able to help in putting pressure on the department to issue you with a decision.

Thanks guys!

I sent a letter to EU treaty last Friday. Also emailed SOLVIT.

BTW, does SOLVIT have a phone number that I can ring at?

Almost 3 weeks now, and I haven't heard from them. :(
Contacted SOLVIT, but they didn't get back to me after we submitted the doc.

Is there another way to contact EU treaty? They obviously don't want to reply my emails or letters...

Did you send a Registered Post letter to INIS? If not, it's not too late.

As previously stated by others, I will suggest you re-send the letter again, REGISTERED. Always send registered letters to this guys - it helps to ensure that they have received it and you have a proof that they have.

You can reach Solvit in Ireland through:

Irish SOLVIT Centre
Internal Market Section
Dept. Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation
Ph:+ 353 1 631 2388

All the best
