Criminal Offence DR10

Post by surprised77 » Wed Feb 08, 2012 12:04 am

Dear all,

I have been a silent watcher of this forum. I have an unspent court conviction of drink and drive (DR10). Applied for ILR in PEO Croydon on 29th November 2011. The application was downgraded to postal for 'further checks'. Eventually received passport today with ILR stamped.

Congrats for your ILR.
Did you mention in the application?

No additional documents were attached.

This is a big relief for a lot of people with traffic conviction. I must say drink driving offence is a serious offence. If you got approval offences like driving without insurance, driving on provisional offence, fine for international licence etc shouldnt be a problem.

May I ask, were you covered by HSMP JR? as this will be a separate issue.

Also people from September are still waiting for their ILR from postal application. We would be grateful if you could explain if you did anything else to expedite your application.

Congrats.

I am sure surprised77 must have been covered by HSMP (JR) otherwise it could have been a lot more difficult to get ILR.

Not covered by Jr. Took a gamble really. Did nothing to expedite my case other than pray. Good luck.

Less than 3 months. Applied at PEO but application was defered to postal for 'further checks'.
Applied on 29.11.11 and received passport on 07.02.12
Goodluck!
