Biometric done between 27th - 29th FEB 2012

Post by h_s_m_p » Wed Mar 14, 2012 9:09 am

Has anyone done the Biometric between 27th and 29th of Feb. Please post the timelines.

I had sent three FAX to home office explaining my situation (personal commitment) but have not received any update from them.

HI, I have received the passport this morning, had biometrics enrollment on 28th Feb at Liverpool PEO. It is the application of my baby's dependent visa.I am on Tier 2 General. I guess it is a very straight forward case as baby is born in the UK.
Hope to receive the biometrics card soon!
Good luck to all.

I did my Tier 2 biometrics on 21st feb..no reply yet...I hope it will come in next week...
timeline says UKBA considering applications where the applicant attended a biometric appointment on or before 15 February.

Happy for you liewanne that your received your docs and hope you receive the BRP as well soon.

But since the biometrics was done on 28 Feb, I was wondering what does the UKBA timeline of considering applications where the applicant attended a biometric appointment on or before 15 February mean then?

I agree. Hmmm. I gave my biometrics on Feb 14 and I haven't received my passport or BRP yet.

don't expect your documents to arrive before 26th March.. I guess with there processing time and delay you should receive before end of March 2012.

For my previous applications yes. COS are just numbers and letters provided by your sponsor. They will be the one who will tell you what your COS is.

I called up the help desk to ask for my documents to be sent back as my reason for the travel is very urgent. I was told that 75% of the application will be closed in 4 weeks time and they asked me to wait for one more week.

And what happens after 4 weeks? I think they are just ignored. I did my biometrics on 23 Feb and nothing back, clearly gone to the back of the queue

1. Type of application: Extending
2. Category : Tier 2 ICT extension with Family
3. Date of expiry of current leave (visa) : 25-Jan-2012
4. Date application posted : 15-Jan-12
5. Date Biometrics letter received : 3-Feb-2012
6. Date of Biometric appointment (earliest appointment available) : 20-Feb-2012 at Liverpool
7. Date BRP cards received : 29-Mar-2012
8. Date passports received : Still waiting on 31-Mar-12

I had my flight booked for family on 30th and had to cancel paying a heavy penalty.
Still waiting for passports to book my next flights.
This is in spite of the case officer acknowledging the receipt of a registered post explaining my situation on 19th March.
